Regional Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer, special steel Toolox and wear products

Do you want to sellthe unique tool & engineering steel Toolox and and wear products made out of Toolox ? We are looking for a skilled salesperson, with hands-on experience working with steel mills and sellingspecial steel and or wear related products .

Job Description

Sell, sell, sell (You will be measured and rewarded on your sale performance).

Drive price negotiations to optimize margins.

Identify and develop new customers.

Build lasting relationships with customers.

Develop a clear understanding of customers needs.

Investigate and resolve customers issues.

Conduct seminars and presentations.

Follow up and monitoring of payments.

Plan, report and communicate regularly with management and support functions.

Create monthly plans and long-term strategies together with management & support functions.

Conduct all business within the scope of SMS company policies and mission.

Skills required.

Experience and understanding of value-added sales towards steel mills. (very important)

Demonstrate ability to secure and develop new customers.

Show initiative and resourcefulness.

Ability to handle high tempo andconfidence to take decisions.

Comfortable with frequent traveling and continuously visiting customers

Ability to work independently.

Ability to learn on the job and gain strong product knowledge.

Confident and skillful in negotiating.

Ability to manage reporting and forecasting duties accurately and timely.

Work in a structured and effective way

Experience required.

University Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of sales experience of selling special steel or wear products.

Experience from steel , cement, mining, die and mould industry is preferred.

Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook knowledge required.

Strong command of English in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
