Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L Responsibility for the Region : Own and manage the overall P&L for the Air Freight business, including revenue generation, cost control, and profitability targets.
- Carrier Program Leadership: Drive the execution of the company's core-carrier program across all regions in India, ensuring strong relationships and competitive pricing.
- Airline Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with top management teams at major airlines across India.
- Operational Excellence: Define and achieve key operational KPIs for each region, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of air freight shipments.
Global Collaboration:
- Assist the Global Key Account Team in fulfilling Request for Quotations (RFQs).
- Liaise closely with Asia-Pacific, Europe, and USA teams to optimize the Air Freight consoles program.
- Carrier Negotiation Support: Provide support to regional teams for effective negotiations with carriers at the Pan-India level.
Sales Enhancement:
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Head to enhance local sales business.
- Identify and introduce new point-pair/sectors based on historical tonnage data to offer to existing customers, local sales teams, and the Global Account Management team.
- Sales Campaign Development: Introduce and drive sales campaigns for the air console business to increase overall business productivity.
- Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and develop effective market entry strategies.
- Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and develop the Air Freight team to enhance their skills and performance.
