Role: Regional Manager - Government Business

Job Role:

Regional Manager is expected to manage a state(s) with set of District Managers / Key Accounts Managers / Circle Managers and ensuring that the team is achieving monthly SOP targets. Must be handling a State Head role in GB in a leading bank.
Acquisition & Servicing of Central & State Govt. Clients in the field of Municipal Corporations, State Governments, Govt. PF Trusts, Embassies, Gram Panchayats, Govt. Boards & Development Authorities, Defence, Autonomous/PSU Bodies etc.
Would be responsible for handling transaction & investment banking business like Payments, Collections, Fixed Deposits, FX, Electronic Transfers, CMS solutions (collection & payment), Asset business & other banking & financial products to the Govt clients
Create a rapport with the top government officials (Key Decision Makers) of all the Departments/Secretariats/Ministries.
Generate leads for other banking products offered by the bank like assets, insurance, TPP etc.
Work closely with the Retail Branch Banking for ensuring synergy business & efficient service to clients

Job Requirements:

Relevant work experience of 12 - 15 yrs. and above, Must be handling a sizable GB CASA Book in the existing bank
Needs to have very strong Banking knowledge and should be well versed with the products, processes and systems of the bank.
Knowledge of PFMS/SNA/CNA accounts
Knowledge of State & Central Government Budgets & schemes
Through knowledge on CMS products
Accuracy and analytical ability on MIS, Eye for details, Meticulous
Post Graduate in MBA is preferred
Strong Execution Skills
Interpersonal Skills along with customer orientation
