Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and performance-driven HR professional to support and strengthen the Sales function. The role will closely partner with Sales Leadership to drive sales performance, manage HR operations, and enhance employee engagement within a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Performance & Incentive Management
- Partner with Sales Leadership to define, track, and review sales targets and KPIs.
- Design, implement, and administer Incentive Compensation Plans (ICPs) that are competitive, transparent, and aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze sales productivity metrics and provide actionable, data-driven insights to improve performance and efficiency.
- Support performance review processes and recommend corrective interventions where required.
2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for the sales team, covering frontline feet-on-street roles to mid and senior-level leadership positions.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies aligned with regional talent dynamics.
- Design and execute structured onboarding programs aimed at reducing ramp-up time and accelerating new hire productivity.
3. Learning & Development (L&D)
- Identify skill and capability gaps within the sales team and implement targeted training initiatives (Product Knowledge, Negotiation Skills, Soft Skills, CRM Utilization).
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, coaching, and mentorship.
- Measure training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
4. HR Operations & Administration
- Oversee the complete employee lifecycle including offer management, contract issuance, payroll inputs, benefits coordination, offboarding, and full & final settlements.
- Manage operational requirements specific to a mobile sales workforce, including conveyance policies and travel coordination.
- Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and internal HR audit standards.
5. Employee Engagement & Relations
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for the regional sales team, addressing grievances and employee concerns promptly.
- Develop and implement engagement initiatives to sustain morale and motivation, particularly during lean sales periods.
- Foster a high-performance, accountable, and positive work culture.
Required Candidate Profile
- Industry Experience: Direct exposure to the Automobile or Manufacturing sector is highly preferred.
- Functional Competencies: Strong expertise in Payroll processes, Recruitment, HR Operations, and employee lifecycle management.
- Behavioral Competencies: Excellent negotiation skills, high emotional intelligence, strong analytical mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Location Preference: Candidates based in Mumbai preferred.
