Regional Collections Manager

FinAGG is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Regional Collection Manager to lead and scale our Southern India collection operations. This role is critical in driving recovery performance across business loan portfolios, managing complex delinquency scenarios, and building strong field and managerial collection teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in business loan collections along with strong people leadership and regional market knowledge.

• Lead end-to-end collections strategy and execution for Southern India collection operations across business loan portfolios.
• Drive collections, including field recoveries, settlement negotiations, and coordination with legal and external partners where applicable.
• Design and implement region-specific recovery strategies aligned with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and compliance norms.
• Build, mentor, and manage a team of collection managers, field officers, and agency partners to achieve recovery targets.
• Monitor portfolio health, delinquency trends, and recovery performance; initiate corrective actions proactively.
• Ensure strong governance and adherence to RBI regulations, compliance standards, and ethical collection practices.
• Manage relationships with collection agencies, legal partners, and vendors across the region.
• Provide regular MIS, dashboards, and performance reviews to senior leadership.
• Collaborate closely with Risk, Credit, Legal, and Business teams to improve portfolio quality and reduce future slippages.
• Leverage data, analytics, and technology tools to improve recovery efficiency and cost optimization.

• 1015+ years of experience in Business Loan Collections with NBFCs, fintech, or banks.
• Extensive experience handling hard bucket collections and complex delinquency cases.
• Proven experience in regional or zonal-level collections leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of Southern India market dynamics, borrower behavior, and regional geography.
• Proficiency in English or Hindi and regional languages of Southern India.
• Excellent people leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret portfolio data and drive recovery strategies.
• Comfortable with field-intensive operations, reviews, and performance-driven environments.

• Experience in NBFCs/ fintech's/ banks.
