Job Description

Looking to hire a Regional Business Head, based out of Mumbai.


About the Role


Responsible for growth and business P&L for Mumbai, Indore and Bhopal region. for a leading quick commerce company. Responsible for complete last mile delivery operation along with dark store management.


Responsibilities


  • Accountability for P&L of the region.
  • Co- owning the reposnsibility of category, purchase along with central teams for the assigned region
  • Planning of the business expansion and scaling along with the manpower budgeting.
  • Responsible for hiring right talents for the region along with gig workforce during festive times.
  • Leading an overall team size of 6000+ comprising both blue and white collared employees and workers((bikers, delivery people, last mile delivery, pickers, packets etc).
  • Responsible for maintaining key organizational metrics including on-time delivery, fill rate, IBND.
  • Responsible for maintenance of stocks / inventory levels within the warehouse to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction and complaint in regards with service delivery.


Qualifications


  • A senior business operations Head who has 12 to 15 years of experience working across quick commerce last mile delivery oparation or logistics delivery industry.
  • Should have worked in Western India (Mumbai specifically) market
  • MBA from premier institute candidate should have handled large volume business, should have experience in launching business in new markets.
  • Strong in People Management and experience in handling large teams (white & blue collared work force).
  • Understand the ecommerce and quick commerce industry.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills as this role requires a lot to deal with corporate teams
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, People management, Strong working knowledge of applicable Central, State and local laws pertaining to the employment relationship.
