Purpose of the Role

A trusted partner to the APA MCL commercial team through the provision of quality and timely reports (produced out of the dedicated reporting team in COE) and analysis to support decision-making processes. Working at the area level across segments for financial analysis for decision making, coordinating monthly and quarterly MOS deliverables, coordinating RoFo / Budget / Business Plan deliverables and providing analytical support for requests from Region or CEN. The successful candidate will lead APA Analysis COE L&S region analysis team of 5 members ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic initiatives and dayto-day operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Take the full responsibility of support APA region MPL and depot products, Act as the finance partner for the APA regional product team, providing Financial Analysis for decision making. Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of budgets and forecasts, timely and high-quality financial reporting and analysis to key stakeholders. Proactively provide value-add analysis, financial information, performance management reporting and financial planning, coordinate and run analysis for CEN and Regional projects / requests.
  • Share and adopt best practices, drive improvement and uptake of standard reporting and insights produced within the COE
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly MOS deliverables. Ensure all MOS deliverables are prepared, validated, consolidated and submitted on a timely basis; Engage with business and finance stakeholders on area level to ensure timely and quality input; Act as the analytical anchor point for performance reviews and drive follow-up
  • Partner with the APA L&S Region FP&A and FBP manager to governance the success of APA L&S region analysis COE, supervise 5 members of region analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure the team delivers accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and insights to stakeholders.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master in finance (CA/ MBA-finance) or equivalent finance certificates
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), sales finance, or business partnering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of people leader experience
  • Good communication and stakeholder influencing skills
  • Working proficiency on tools such as Microsoft Excel, MiniTab, SAP-BI/BW, Power BI
