Refrigeration Engineer

Position Refrigeration Design Lead Engineer (Ammonia refrigeration system).

Location Vadodara/Mumbai/Chennai/Hyderabad

Experience 12+ Years

Experience working on projects - within India and cold countries.

Preliminary refrigeration load calculation and sizing and selection of equipment.

Development of mass and energy balance.

Development of P&ID for ammonia refrigeration system.

Development of specifications for the equipment's and control.

Preparation of tender document for Ammonia package, addressing the queries from vendor, technical evaluation of the offers received.

Candidate should have additional experience on below area of design.

Mechanical Engineer with 13+ years of experience in design engineering HVAC.

Candidate should have knowledge of Various HVAC standards referred for HVAC designing for FMCG, Chemical & Oil and Gas sector, such as ISA, ISO, ISHRAE, ASHRAE.

Candidate should have experience of Various HVAC system design in USA, Europe, India & Middle east.

Candidate should be responsible for various project/Engineering activity related to HVAC. (Heating Ventilation and Air conditioning).

Heat Load calculation

Working experience of Carrier's Hourly Analysis Program (HAP) for heat load calculation.

Experience of selection of appropriate chiller for HVAC system, hands on experience of various kind of chillers centrifugal chiller, screw chillers etc.

Experience of ventilation system used for FMCG plant, chemical plant and oil and gas plant.

Knowledge of ducting system for HVAC as per Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association (SMACN)

Knowledge of Ventilation system design as per ASHRAE and NBC -2016, for the various kind of plant.

Knowledge and design competency of various cooling system design for industrial and commercial HVAC projects. Such as chilled water system, DX (Direct Expansion) system, VRF (Variable refrigerant flow) system, Adiabatic cooling system.

Knowledge of chilled water piping system design as per IS standard. i.e. IS -1239 & 3589.

Designing and sizing of the chilled water piping, control valves and isolation valve requirement.

Working experience of DX (Direct expansion) cooling system, copper piping, insulation etc.

Working experience of chilled water and cooling water pump selection, pump head calculation.

Preparation of P&ID for chilled water and hot water system.

Preparation/review/guide for HVAC layout such as ducting, piping, equipment's.

Calculation of AHUs/FAN static.

Preparation of BOQ (Bill of quantity) for complete HVAC system.

Preparation of RFQ (Requisition for Quotation) & floating for vendor offer.
