| • Complete knowledge in Linux administration with Dev Ops / Ansible as secondary skills • RedHat Linux upgradation or migration experience. • Technical Proficiency and Expertise (including but are not limited to the following). o Server Installation and maintenance, server upgradation and patches of all hardware, operating system, and operational utilities on RedHat Linux systems. o Monitors, schedules, and implements server storage expansions, as required for client needs. • Provides research, communicates, and implements "Best Practices" for server tuning. • Linux Preferred Proficiency and Expertise. o Knowledge of Linux LVM (Logical Volume Management). o Knowledge of RedHat Satellite Server (Build, Kickstart, Deploy). o Knowledge of CIFS and NFS. o Knowledge of Storage Area Networks and SAN. o Knowledge of RedHat Linux Networking and Bonding. • Ability to work with global resources to implement servers, and resolve issues. • Participates in on-call rotation. • Customer interaction and communication skills. • Adheres to documented, approved standards. • Plans and coordinates infrastructure requests to accommodate server requests. • Coordinates and plans with other support groups and vendors to provide emergency and scheduled maintenance in an effective timeframe. • Responsible for coordinating requested changes, and minimizing the business impact of those changes. Understand and follow operational processes and policies. |
