Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Recruiter with a strong background in technical recruitment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring IT professionals for various roles across software development, infrastructure, cloud, and IT services. The role requires a strong understanding of IT technologies, tools, and recruitment best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle recruitment for IT positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, technical skills, and team culture.
  • Source candidates using LinkedIn, job portals, networking, Boolean search, and referrals.
  • Screen and shortlist candidates based on technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate interviews and follow up with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and manage recruitment databases/ATS (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, Taleo, iCIMS).
  • Conduct market research and benchmark salaries for technical positions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams to understand hiring priorities.
  • Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline status, source effectiveness).
  • Keep up-to-date with IT recruitment trends and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT / technical recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of software, IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and IT roles (developers, Wintel/Windows engineers, network engineers, system administrators, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with ATS systems and sourcing tools.
  • Expertise in Boolean search and sourcing strategies across platforms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and recruitment compliance.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience hiring for Wintel, Cloud, VMware, or Windows Server roles.
  • Familiarity with global hiring or offshore hiring processes.
  • Experience in executive or high-volume technical hiring.
