Job Function Summary

We are seeking a hardcore recruitment professional with hands-on hiring experience in manufacturing, particularly within the electrical and mechanical equipment industry. The role requires strong technical understanding, expertise in high-volume and niche hiring, advanced sourcing skills across multiple platforms, and complete ownership of the recruitment and onboarding lifecycle. The ideal candidate is process-driven, capable of developing and improving recruitment and onboarding SOPs, and confident in working independently with plant heads, engineering leaders, and management.


Job Responsibilities

End-to-End Recruitment

  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for engineering, technical (ITI/Diploma/BE/BTech Electrical & Mechanical), and mid to senior-level manufacturing roles.
  • Translate manpower requirements from functional heads into focused hiring plans.
  • Ensure timely closures within defined TATs while maintaining quality.

Method Sourcing

  • Execute active and passive sourcing through multiple channels including job portals (Naukri, indeed, LinkedIn, Shine), LinkedIn Boolean searches, internal databases, referrals, and campus/local hiring (ITI/Diploma institutes).
  • Build and sustain a strong talent pipeline for critical manufacturing positions.

Technical Screening

  • Conduct technical pre-screening for electrical and mechanical profiles by evaluating skills, qualifications, machinery exposure, standards, testing, and production processes.
  • Coordinate and align technical interviews with role requirements.

Onboarding & Joining Management

  • Own the end-to-end onboarding process including offer roll-out, follow-ups, documentation, verification, and induction coordination.
  • Minimize drop-offs by actively tracking offer acceptance, joining status, and no-show risks.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Work closely with plant heads, department heads, and production/engineering managers.
  • Manage recruitment consultants and vendors to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Share regular hiring updates and MIS with management.

Recruitment MIS & Compliance

  • Maintain structured recruitment data, trackers, and dashboards.
  • Prepare MIS reports covering open positions, hiring progress, offer-to-joining ratio, and TAT adherence.

Qualification & Experience

  • MSW, MHRM (HR preferred)
  • Technical exposure or prior work experience in manufacturing hiring is mandatory


Skills & Competencies

  • 45 years dedicated recruitment experience in manufacturing
  • Strong exposure to electrical & mechanical equipment industry
  • Technically sound with hands-on screening capability
  • Expert in sourcing and onboarding
  • Process-driven with SOP development experience
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision
