About the role

As the Recruitment Executive, you will be responsible to find, screen, and bring in the right talent for the roles on the team. This is a hands-on, on-ground role. You will be expected to spend time in actual work areas, understand real requirements, and take full ownership of hiring outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Post jobs and source candidates
• Work with the team to understand role requirements clearly
• Shortlist and screen candidates based on role requirements
• Schedule and coordinate interviews
• Run recruitment across all levels: labour, staff, supervisors and managers
• Run recruitment across departments: harvesting, packing, maintenance, growing etc.
• Ensure open positions are filled quickly with the right people
• Build a candidate pipeline for current and future needs
• Observe teams on the ground to understand real people and performance issues
• Take ownership of people problems on the floor and help resolve them
• Support supervisors in addressing attendance, discipline, behavioural and performance
• issues
• Work with leadership to improve retention and reduce avoidable turnover
• Observe teams on the ground to understand real performance gaps
• Flag low performers and strong potential within current staff
• Support leadership by tracking simple performance indicators

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition and people operations.
• Someone who is extremely hands-on and results oriented
• Comfortable with blue-collar and white-collar hiring
• Not afraid of physical work environments (farm, production, warehouse, etc.)
• Someone who is a quick learner and can figure things out
• Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, food processing, dairy, poultry, logistics, warehousing, or similar on-ground industries is preferred.
