- Full-Cycle Technical Recruiting: Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for technical roles (e.g., Software Engineers, DevOps, Data Scientists, Product Managers) from job brief to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, industry events, social media, internal referrals) to build a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive, consistent, and engaging experience for all candidates, reflecting our startup's culture and values.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their team's needs, define job requirements, and provide timely updates on recruitment progress.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and compensation benchmarks to advise internal stakeholders effectively.
- Vendor Selection & Onboarding: Identify, vet, and establish relationships with external staffing agencies and third-party vendors specializing in IT talent.
- Performance Monitoring: Define clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all vendors. Track, evaluate, and report on vendor performance (e.g., submission-to-interview ratio, time-to-fill, quality of hires).
- Rate Negotiation: Conduct negotiations on placement fees and contractual terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with budget.
- Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all staffing vendors, conducting regular review meetings to align on priority roles and provide constructive feedback.
- Process Optimization: Standardize and streamline the vendor submission process to ensure fairness and efficiency, and maintain an organized vendor management system/database.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in IT recruitment, preferably in a startup, technology.
- Technical Acumen: Proven ability to understand complex technical roles and speak credibly about various tech stacks (e.g., Java, Python, AWS, Kubernetes, React).
- Vendor Management: At least 1 year of direct experience managing, negotiating with, and evaluating external staffing or recruitment agencies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and build strong relationships internally and externally.
- Education: Masters degree in Human Resources (Full time is mandatory)
- Experience with a modern Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Familiarity with contingent and retained search models.
- Prior experience scaling a high-growth tech company.
