What would you do? Balance sheet preparation, Bank Reconciliations, Journals review & Fixed assets process Responsible for financial accounting and reporting that has a material impact on key components of the clients financial statements Responsible for the preparation, coordination and review of financial accounting analyses and journal entries to properly recognize actual results for material components of the clients operations. Should be able to manage the financial month end close processes Manage the team and daily operations within agreed level of scope Ability to recognize unusual transactions, trends, or variations and communicate findings to supervisor or manager. Ability to manage/monitor accounting close responsibilities Analyzes transactions, understands and explains variances, and proactively identifies potential problems and solutions. Initiates and facilitates the sharing of process knowledge and best practices within the team The Financial Consolidation & Close Operations team is responsible for general ledger processes including year-end closing, journalizing, etc. They help create & maintain ledgers, currencies, budgets, & journal entries, deliver solutions including a flexible accounting structure, comprehensive journal processing, hierarchical summaries, intuitive inquiry & reporting, dynamic allocations & the management of commitments & expenditures, run interface reports & perform close books of accounts. The team reviews P&L accounts errors, omissions, or inconsistencies and managing the preparation of all reports. They also work on posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and reporting open items, reviewing entries and reconciliations, supporting month-end closing, preparing various reports as required, and supporting audits. The team also oversees improvement projects, including automation, simplifications, and enhanced controls.
