Role Description
We are looking for a well-presented, articulate, and dependable Receptionist to manage our front office at our GIFT City office. As the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and partners, this role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a polished presence.
This is a full-time on-site Receptionist role located in Gandhinagar. The Receptionist will be responsible for managing receptionist duties, including greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls with professionalism, and scheduling appointments. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the front desk, performing basic clerical tasks, and supporting the office team with administrative duties. The Receptionist will play a key role in maintaining an efficient and welcoming environment for clients, partners, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, clients, and external stakeholders
- Greet and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure readiness for meetings
- Maintain visitor records and assist with access coordination
- Support basic administrative tasks (filing, document handling, coordination with internal teams, making external calls, fixing appointments, etc.)
- Ensure the reception area is always clean, organized, and presentable
Qualifications
- Strong command of English, with clear and confident spoken and written communication
- Ability to comfortably communicate in Hindi and Gujarati
- Proficiency in Phone Etiquette and Receptionist Duties
- Strong Clerical Skills and ability to manage administrative tasks
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal abilities
- Customer Service skills with a focus on creating a professional and welcoming environment
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of office software tools and basic IT familiarity is a plus
- Friendly demeanor and a proactive approach to supporting team and visitor needs
- Prior experience in a front desk, receptionist, or other client-facing role is desirable
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a dynamic environment
