About the Role

We are looking for a skilled React / Next.js Developer with 2+ years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable, high-performance web applications and delivering seamless user experiences. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to create intuitive and efficient applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js and Next.js
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, scalable code
• Integrate RESTful APIs and manage client-side development
• Optimise applications for maximum performance, speed, and scalability
• Work with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG)
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience with React.js
• Strong proficiency in the Next.js framework
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and ES6+ concepts
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and SASS
• Experience with RESTful API integration
• Good understanding of Git version control
• Understanding of React core principles (hooks, state management, lifecycle methods)

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG)
• Basic knowledge of Node.js or backend technologies
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Cypress
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Education:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
