DrPsych is an early-stage digital mental health startup focused on building thoughtfully designed technology to improve access to psychology and mental wellness services. We are building a real production mobile application used by real users. Our engineering culture emphasizes clean code, ownership, and shipping meaningful features.

Role Summary

We are looking for a React Native Mobile Developer Intern who wants hands-on experience building and shipping production-ready mobile features. This is not a classroom-style internship. Interns will work directly with senior engineers and founders on real application features.

Internship Details

Role: Mobile Developer Intern (React Native)

Location: Remote (India)

Duration: 36 months

Internship Type: Unpaid

Conversion: Paid contract or full-time role based on performance

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain React Native features for iOS and Android

Implement UI screens based on Figma designs

Integrate REST APIs and backend services

Work with authentication and data-driven screens

Debug issues and improve performance

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Ship production-ready code

Required Skills

Working knowledge of React Native

Strong JavaScript fundamentals

Understanding of React hooks

Basic Git usage

Ability to read and work with existing codebases

Good to Have TypeScript experience

Expo or React Native CLI

REST API integration experience

Firebase or authentication flows

Prior mobile app project (personal, academic, or freelance)
