Job Profile:-

1. Design & development of components for Deep Freezer and visi cooler
2. Preparation of prototypes and testing and analysis of results
3. Maintenance of all design documents for future reference
4. Interaction with cross-functional teams for specific issues
5. Providing active support in corporate/business initiatives like product claims, Value Engg, etc.
6. Exposure to BOM & ECN
7. Knowledge problem solving tools like FMEA, A3, 8D etc.

Job Description: -

1. Understand needs, component design considering manufacturability and cost as per the guidelines provided by the Design Team Leader
2. Preparation of sketches, liaison with proto-type shop, fabrication as per design, testing in laboratories and preparation of reports
3. Follow laid down systems for documentation
4. Interact with legal, Planning & NPD team for project specific issues
5. Preparation of Bill of material
6. Design of cooling cycle components such as compressor, evaporator, condenser, capillary etc.
7. Understanding of Design for Manufacturing and Serviceability
8. Interacting with the CFTs like NPD, Manufacturing & Quality teams for project specific issues

Requisite Qualification:-

Essential-

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)

Preferred-

Knowledge of Plastic material & tooling, Cooling system and Patent process,

Experience in R&D of products, white goods or equivalent

1. Proficiency in CAD UGNX

2. Knowledge of Design, testing & Standards

Requisite Experience:-

Essential-

5 years relevant experience, knowledge of CAD-NX software

- Exposure to work on Deep Freezer and visi cooler

- Thorough knowledge of product development cycle

Preferred-

Experience in R&D of products, white goods or equivalent

1. Proficiency in CAD UGNX
2. Knowledge of Design, testing & Standards
3. Knowledge of thermodynamics
