R&D Engineer – Embedded Systems | IoT | ESP32 | Arduino | Raspberry Pi

About the Role

i-Robochakra is hiring an R&D Engineer (Embedded Systems & IoT) with real product development experience . This is a hands-on engineering role , not a lab assistant or a pure teaching position.

Youll work on industry-grade IoT and embedded products , owning firmware, hardware integration, testing, and iterations. Teaching or mentoring happens occasionally , only because youve built the system yourself.

Were looking for a hardcore Product R&D Engineer who can:

• Design and develop embedded & IoT products
• Work hands-on with hardware and firmware
• Occasionally mentor students through workshops or weekly sessions

This is a builder-first role . Teaching is secondary.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and debug embedded & IoT products end-to-end
• Firmware development using:
• Arduino (C / C++)
• ESP32
• Raspberry Pi (Python)
• Integrate sensors, actuators, displays, and communication modules (Wi-Fi, BLE, MQTT, etc.)
• Work closely with an internal R&D product team
• Perform hardware bring-up, testing, and field validation
• Maintain basic technical documentation
• Conduct hands-on workshops / weekly sessions for students when required

Required Skills & Experience

• 35 years of embedded systems / IoT product development
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Arduino
• ESP32
• Raspberry Pi
• Proficiency in:
• C / C++ (Embedded / Arduino framework)
• Python
• Experience debugging real hardware issues (not just simulations)
• Comfortable working in a startup / product-driven environment

Good to Have (Added Advantage)

• PCB design knowledge (EasyEDA / KiCad / Altium)
• Soldering and board-level debugging
• Experience with product deployment or field testing
