What youll do
- Serve as the front-line technical support for RF applications in a high-volume EMS production environment.
- Lead failure analysis and debug RF circuits/systems down to component level using advanced measurement techniques.
- Operate, analyze, and interpret results from RF test equipment (spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes).
- Document test results, prepare concise reports, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
- Resolve production test facility issues and drive corrective/preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align RF test methods, acceptance criteria, and outcomes.
- Improve RF debugging/test methodologies for efficiency, repeatability, and throughput.
- Partner with business teams to align technical solutions with customer requirements and program goals.
- Stay current with RF/wireless standards (2G5G, WLAN, Bluetooth, UWB) and drive continuous improvement.
- Apply RF/IoT expertise to ensure measurement integrity, data quality, and compliance.
Desired Skills
- Strong RF engineering fundamentals; hands-on in RF testing methodologies and component-level PCB debugging.
- Proficiency with spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, RF power meters, and oscilloscopes.
- Solid grasp of RF principles, measurement techniques, standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience reading schematics and understanding PCB layout practices.
- Familiarity with wireless standards (LTE, 5G, WiFi/WLAN, Bluetooth, UWB).
- Exposure to design/simulation tools (Altium, PSpice; AutoCAD if relevant to fixture/mechanical interfaces).
- Advantageous: embedded C/C++/Python for test automation or data processing.
- Proven cross-functional collaboration, clear technical communication, and ability to work in fast-paced production environments.
- Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or related).
- Minimum 3 years in RF testing/validation (within the broader 510+ years total experience).
