R Shiny Developer (QUANT)

About the Company

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a model/UI developer. The ideal candidate should have advanced programming skills in R and R Shiny, with a background in the finance industry and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of structured finance would be a plus. In the event that we are unable to find suitable candidates with R programming expertise, experience in application development using Python, C++ or Java in the same order of preference will also be considered.

About the Role

The role involves utilizing advanced programming skills to develop and implement credit rating models and algorithms, while also building intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced programming skills in R to develop and implement credit rating models and algorithms
• Leverage R shiny skills to build intuitive and user friendly UI
• Collaborate with analytical teams to correctly translate criteria documents and design and implement models
• Communicate complex concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI design and financial programming

Qualifications

• Advanced programming skills in R and R Shiny, with a strong understanding of statistical analysis and UI/UX design
• Background in the finance industry, with knowledge of financial markets and instruments
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Experience with structured finance is preferred, but not required
