ABOUT NEXORTEST

NexorTest Technologies builds and validates medical-grade hardware for clients across the US, EU, India, and 25+ global markets. We are an integrated MedTech engineering firm product design, in-house testing, and regulatory consulting under one roof. Our design team works on connected wearables, diagnostic instruments, and IVD devices, and ships real, working hardware to clients who take it to market.

Role Summary: We need a builder. Someone who can take a brief a clinical need, a form factor sketch, a sensor spec and lead it from concept all the way to a working, testable prototype. You will design the hardware, wire up the electronics, write or integrate the embedded firmware, and physically assemble and iterate the prototype in-house. You'll lead design activities across wearable devices, medical instruments, and IVD hardware, and own the full build cycle from first breadboard to a manufacturable design ready for production transfer.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Lead end-to-end hardware design mechanical, electronics, and embedded software for wearables, medical devices, and IVD Instruments.

Develop prototypes from scratch: breadboarding, PCB layout, 3D CAD, 3D printing, and bench assembly

Write and integrate embedded firmware (C/C++, Python, or equivalent) for sensor data acquisition, communication (BLE, Wi-Fi, USB), and device control

Design and develop the paired software interface mobile app, desktop dashboard, or cloud data pipeline as required

Select components, sensors, and materials; build BOMs and manage supplier relationships for prototype builds

Iterate rapidly based on functional testing, user feedback, and client input

Prepare design outputs: CAD files, schematics, firmware repos, assembly instructions, and test reports.

Support transfer of validated designs to contract manufacturers for production.

WHAT YOU BRING

25 years of hands-on product development experience you have built and tested real hardware, not just modelled it

Strong PCB design skills (KiCad, Altium, or Eagle); experience taking boards from schematic to assembled prototype

Embedded firmware experience: microcontroller programming (STM32, ESP32, Nordic, Arduino ecosystem or similar)

3D CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent) with hands-on prototyping using 3D printing and basic machining

Experience integrating hardware with software app, dashboard, or API-level data pipeline

Bonus: prior work on biosensors, wearable form factors, fluid-handling systems, or IVD cartridge design

You move fast, work independently, and keep a tidy bench and a clean Git report.

QUALIFICATION: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Biomedical, Mechatronics, or closely related discipline.
