Mission Statement:

You as a R&D Engineer-Control Development will be part of Hitachi Energy business-based Chennai, Tamil Nadu. You will be responsible in developing real-time control and protection software as well as simulation models for medium voltage high-power grid connected converter applications.

Your Responsibilities:

• Contribute to global R&D projects in the field of Power Conversion

• Develop, test and document real-time control and protection software for power converters.

• Develop, test and document power converter and system simulation models.

• Support on-site power converter installations and commissioning at an international level.

Your Background :

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis on Power Electronics and Control.

• Industrial experience with power converters and real-time control software is an advantage.

• Proficiency in the use of simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD and Power Factory.

• Experience with structured text language as well as python programming would be an advantage.

• Team spirit with the capacity to work independently, complemented by a quick intellect and well-developed analytical skills.

• Experience working in an Agile development team would be an advantage

• Fluent command of English, both written and spoken.
