Our Team:

Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) is an internal Sanofi resource organization based in India and is setup to centralize processes and activities to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions. SBO strives to be a strategic and functional partner for tactical deliveries to Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations in Sanofi, globally.

Main responsibilities:

Associate Project Specialist liaises with the relevant Business Partners, local team member and relevant teams to ensure the below:

  • Appropriately managing the payment for non-contract services using the relevant tool and Sanofi process

  • Performs quality checks on requested information/amount for payment for non-contract services

  • Provides support to update the tool and facilitate the payment for non-contract services

  • Track the requests and relevant information as per the Sanofi process as well as compilation/maintenance of the requests

  • Identifies process simplification & system enhancement if applicable

  • People: (1) Primary point of contact for requestors for technical aspects of their requests; (2) Align with internal stakeholders to follow the Non- Contract Payment process as per SOP and guidelines.  

  • Performance: (1) Maintain project database and conduct routine critical analyses of project objectives and deliverables to proactively identify and communicate potential risks and possible efficiencies to the stakeholders and ensuring compliance; (2) Track relevant project key performance indicators (KPIs); (3) Ensure operational excellence and compliance readiness.

  • Process: (1) (1) Manage all requests within the centralized mailbox/request platform and prioritize based on the business need (2) Update the tool and facilitate the request for payment for non-contract services (3) Process the payment as per the Sanofi Process and maintain the payment records (4) Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Stakeholders: (1) Work closely with stakeholders from R&D, Sanofi Business Operations & leadership team

About you

  • Experience: 1-2 years' experience in in pharma/life-science companies with basic finance knowledge

  • Soft skills: Must possess sound interpersonal and information gathering skills, being able to relate well to others at all levels throughout the organization and can work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others

  • Technical skills: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Sharepoint

  • Education: Degree in a scientific/ Pharmaceutical discipline or related degree

  • Languages: Excellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written)
