Quantitative Trader

A leading quantitative trading firm is looking for a Quantitative Trader to design, execute, and scale automated trading strategies in global financial markets.

Working within a highly technical trading environment, you will develop and run systematic strategies that directly impact trading performance. The role combines quantitative research, real-time decision-making, and close collaboration with engineers to continuously improve trading systems and execution.

What Youll Work On

• Developing and deploying automated trading strategies across global markets.
• Generating alpha through systematic trading, including position-taking and market-making strategies.
• Analyzing market microstructure and order flow to improve execution quality.
• Monitoring live strategies and adjusting parameters based on real-time performance.
• Refining existing models and identifying new trading opportunities using large datasets.
• Working with engineers to improve trading infrastructure, latency, and execution systems.
• Exploring new markets, instruments, and strategy approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement quantitative trading strategies.
• Monitor trading risk and strategy performance in real time.
• Build and evaluate models using statistical and machine learning methods.
• Optimize strategy execution and trading infrastructure.
• Collaborate with researchers and developers to bring strategies into production.

What Were Looking For

• 3-10 years of experience in quantitative trading or a similar role within proprietary trading or financial markets.
• Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another quantitative field.
• Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and financial markets.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
• Experience with systematic trading, algorithmic trading, or high-frequency trading environments.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
