Job Summary: 

As a Business Analyst at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking- Marketing Growth & Innovation organization of Card Services, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop automated reports after understanding assigned business processes, reviewing requests for new or enhanced reports supporting those processes and researching, evaluating and recommending solutions to satisfy those requests.  
  •  Gather and analyze large amounts of data from differing data sources, identify relationships between the data analyzed, review those relationships with report requesters and other subject matter experts and define specific criteria needed to identify non-compliant accounts to satisfy the business requirements. This
  • Collaborate with process owners to review identified accounts and understand how to bring them into alignment with regulatory and strategic requirements.   
  • Documente the report design, partnering with colleagues to test, review and implement the developed program into production and provide support throughout the lifecycle of the report all while maintaining a strong controls environment ensuring a stable and secure production platform.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years of report development experience required 
  • Experience in data analytics utilizing advanced SQL using large-scale enterprise database platforms such as Teradata and Oracle required
  • Demonstrate proficiency with sourcing and compiling data from a tool with Extract / Transform / Load (ETL) capabilities such as Alteryx as well as creating and deploying reports with a Business Intelligence (BI) tool such as Tableau. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Access and Excel skills for data analysis, PowerPoint skills for executive reports creation along with Word and Visio for process documentation required

  • Possess strong relationship skills and ability to collaborate across organizational levels
  • Frequently resolve complex assignments independently and ensure projects are completed according to established timelines
  • Maintain consistent communication, both written and verbal, with team and business process owners with regards to the progress of development efforts
  • Eagerly work in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly dynamic environment with a strong desire and aptitude to learn and adapt to new technologies 
  • Experience with SAS (Base 9.4 on Unix platform preferred) for report automation required
