Quality Manager – US Mortgage Due Diligence / Underwriting

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager with strong expertise in US Mortgage Due Diligence and Underwriting to drive quality strategy, audits, and operational excellence.

Location: Pune (Work from Office)

CTC: Up to 18 LPA

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the quality framework for Due Diligence, Credit, and Compliance reviews
• Conduct file audits across Agency, Non-QM, and Non-Agency loans
• Perform defect trend analysis and identify root causes
• Work closely with underwriting and production teams to improve quality outcomes
• Prepare client reports, scorecards, and governance dashboards
• Conduct training sessions and calibration meetings
• Manage audit responses and rebuttals

Required Experience & Skills

• 8+ years of experience in US Mortgage operations
• Strong background in Due Diligence and Underwriting
• Prior experience in Quality or Audit leadership roles
• Strong understanding of Fannie Mae (FNMA) and Freddie Mac (FHLMC) guidelines
• Experience handling external and internal audits
• Strong analytical and Root Cause Analysis skills
• Excellent stakeholder and client communication skills
