About the Role:
The Quality Lead will drive and manage end-to-end accreditation and internal audit governance across the Group, ensuring consistent implementation of Quality Management Systems, accreditation standards, and internal audit processes.
The role will provide strategic guidance, oversight, and assurance to hospitals for managing multiple national accreditations and for identifying process gaps at hospital and group levels to drive continuous quality and patient safety improvement.
Location: Narayana Health Corporate Office, Bommasandra, Bengaluru
Education: MBA- Health & Hospital Management
Qualifications:
- 1014 years of experience in the healthcare industry
- Strong hands-on experience in hospital quality, accreditation management, and internal audits
- Deep working knowledge of NABH, NABL, and other national accreditation standards
Key Deliverables:
1) Group Accreditation Governance
- End-to-end ownership of all national accreditations across the Group (NABH, NABL, Nursing Excellence, and departmental accreditations).
- Ensure timely accreditation readiness, compliance, renewals, and closure of gaps across ~40 accreditations.
- Act as the central governance and escalation point for accreditation matters.
2) Group Internal Audit Leadership
- Plan, schedule, and govern Group Internal Audit cycles across hospitals.
- Ensure quality of audit findings, effective CAPA definition, and time-bound closure.
- Analyse audit outcomes to identify systemic process gaps and group-level risks.
3) Quality & Patient Safety Oversight
- Monitor key quality and patient safety KPIs at hospital and group levels.
- Identify trends, risks, and improvement priorities and present insights to leadership.
- Ensure alignment with group quality governance frameworks.
4) Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure completion of annual risk assessments, incident reviews, and preventive action tracking.
- Oversee compliance with mock drills and emergency preparedness requirements.
5) Process Improvement & Capability Building
- Translate audit and accreditation findings into measurable improvement initiatives.
- Support hospitals in strengthening QMS implementation and sustainment.
- Build internal capability through focused guidance and training.
