Role Description

AEC is seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Quality Control Engineer to ensure the highest standards of construction quality across our projects.

The role involves implementing quality control systems, conducting systematic inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulatory standards, and internal governance frameworks.

The Quality Control Engineer will:

• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications
• Conduct material inspections, site quality audits, and compliance checks
• Identify non-conformities and drive corrective actions
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and reporting systems
• Analyze quality data to recommend process improvements
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and compliant execution

This position requires strong coordination across engineering, site execution, and project management teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Management methodologies
• Minimum 2 years of relevant on-site experiencein construction quality control or assurance
• Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to assess and improve existing practices
• Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with teams, clients, and stakeholders
• Knowledge of compliance protocols and standards for construction projects
• Ability to prepare detailed inspection reports, NCRs, quality documentation, and audit records
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in quality management systems (advantageous)
• Experience in infrastructure, high-rise, or industrial projects preferred
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
