Quality Assurance Technician (QAT)

Scope of Work:

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician (QAT) to test large-scale distributed applications at the user level. This role focuses on both manual testing and automation script development and execution, working across Amazon's websites and mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct functional and compatibility testing across multiple devices and browsers

* Use black-box testing techniques to identify issues impacting the end-user experience

* Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts

* Create, update, and manage test cases following QA procedures

* Utilize QA tools to document and track testing progress and issues

* Generate detailed bug reports and comprehensive test documentation

* Provide regular status updates and reports

* Own and resolve software issues throughout the testing lifecycle

* Deliver high-quality testing outcomes while working independently in a fast-paced environment

Key Requirements:

* Strong attention to detail and critical thinking ability

* Experience in both manual and automation testing

* Familiarity with black-box testing techniques

* Proficiency in scripting or maintaining test automation frameworks

* Strong documentation and reporting skills

* Ability to manage time efficiently and meet project deadlines

* Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision

* Demonstrated ownership of issues and follow-through until resolution
