Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer with strong experience in Playwright to join a high-impact project with one of the Big 4 consulting firms. The role involves designing and maintaining robust automation frameworks for modern web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright .
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using JavaScript / TypeScript .
• Execute automated test suites for functional, regression, and smoke testing .
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines .
• Perform cross-browser testing and ensure compatibility across environments.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Analyze test results, log defects, and track them to closure.
• Support manual testing when required and contribute to overall QA strategy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 48 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript .
• Experience in testing modern web applications (React, Angular, etc.).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies .
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with BrowserStack or other cloud-based testing tools
• Exposure to API testing (Postman, REST APIs)
• Experience working with consulting or enterprise clients
• ISTQB or equivalent certification
