Quality Assurance Manager – Steel Casting Foundry

Role Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality systems, foundry laboratory operations, and Management Representative (MR) responsibilities in a steel casting foundry.

• Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits , including audit preparation, closure of NCs, and follow-up actions.
• Own and manage foundry laboratory activities , including chemical, mechanical, and metallurgical testing, calibration, and test result validation.
• Act as Management Representative (MR) for ISO-based Quality Management Systems, ensuring effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement.
• Establish and control quality procedures, inspection plans, and documentation across foundry and machine shop operations.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions using structured root cause analysis to reduce rejections, rework, and customer complaints.
• Review quality KPIs and present quality performance and audit status to top management.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Production Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role within a steel casting foundry .
• Same manufacturing experience Candidates with prior experience in steel casting or similar heavy engineering manufacturing environments will be preferred.
• Proven exposure to ISO-based quality systems, audits, and foundry laboratory management.

Skills

• Hands-on experience in foundry laboratory testing, calibration control, and technical report review.
• Ability to lead audits, interface confidently with auditors and customers, and close non-conformities effectively.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems, audit processes, and MR responsibilities.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and leadership skills with a process-driven mindset.
