Job Description
Designation - Quality Assurance Manager
Location - Nepal
Ensure quality of product as per company standards at optimal cost.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for implementing and reviewing Food Safety and Quality Management System.
- To ensure and comply with all the relevant statutory requirements/ compliances viz. Nepal DFTQC, Food & Drug administration and Local government body.
- To ensure all the products conform to the PAPL specifications through assurance of processes from supply chain to consumer.
- To ensure full compliance to the PAPL FSQA Mandates for the plant operation.
- To identify, plan document, and manage the practices, activities and resources needed to meet quality goals and objectives.
- Responsibility for adherence to PAPL guidelines and requirements in the process of manufacturing, to ensure conformance to specifications of the finished goods leaving the plant.
- To carry out required tests as per the MTF for the incoming raw materials, packaging materials, WTP, syrup preparation and finished product.
- Direct responsibility for two way traceability forward until consumers and backward until the raw materials.
- Responsibility for implementation of availability of standard chemical reagents , verification of concentration and calibration program for equipment's in the plant
- Responsibility for storage condition conformation for raw materials, NABB, auxiliary material and final product.
- Responsibility for implementation of consumer response program. Support consumer response department in handling concerns related to product integrity.
- Responsibility for review and analyze Quality Index and to carry out root cause analysis for failures and corrective action plan.
- Responsibility to develop and implement a Corrective Action Program, in response to HO-Quality Audit /EHS Audit/ Internal Quality Audit reports.
- Responsibility for maintenance of records and retention samples, in accordance with Company and regulatory requirements.
- Direct responsibility for selection, coaching, feedback and development of Quality Assurance personnel.
- Direct responsibility for developing an environmental assessment and accountability program and implementing in coordination with PAPL HO-EHS.
- Direct responsibility for establishing and maintaining the GMP/GHK norms at the depots and plant.
Technical Knowledge
In-depth knowledge of the technology of the beverage process and production and quality characteristics.
Thorough understanding of the various process parameters and their implication on delivering the quality and food safety of the product.
Ability to understand the local laws and to comply with the same for the product and operation at all the time.
Knowledge of ingredient processing, beverage blending, thermal process, mix processing and filing (both Aseptic and non-aseptic).
Qualifications
- Graduation /Post Graduation in science - Food technology
- 12 - 15 years of experience from Beverage manufacturing industries
