Job Description

Location: Peenya Industrial Area, Bengaluru (On-site) Microtex Energy Private Limited

Working days: Monday to Saturday (On-site)

Reporting to: COO

Compensation: Salary as per industry norms (commensurate with experience)

Microtex (based in Peenya, Bengaluru) is looking for a senior Quality Assurance professional to lead and strengthen our end-to-end Quality function ensuring disciplined execution across incoming materials manufacturing processes testing dispatch customer feedback , with a strong focus on reliability, safety, and consistency .

Key Responsibilities

You will be accountable for end-to-end quality ownership , including:

Quality Management System (QMS):

Maintaining, strengthening, and continuously improving ISO 9001based systems, SOP discipline, documentation control, internal audits, and management reviews

Process quality across manufacturing:

Ensuring robust quality controls across lead alloying, pasting, curing, formation, assembly, charging, finishing, and packing operations

Incoming, in-process & final inspection:

Defining and enforcing inspection plans, sampling methods, control plans, gauge calibration, traceability, and test validation

Product testing & reliability:

Oversight of electrical, mechanical, and performance testing including formation results, capacity tests, charge acceptance, internal resistance, endurance, and failure analysis

Customer complaints & field failures:

Leading root cause analysis (RCA), 8D / CAPA closure, containment actions, and preventive improvements with strong documentation and response discipline

Supplier quality management:

Supplier qualification, audits, corrective actions, and performance monitoring for critical inputs such as lead, separators, containers, valves, acid, and additives

Regulatory & standards compliance:

Ensuring compliance with applicable battery standards (IEC / IS / customer-specific specifications) and readiness for audits and approvals

Cross-functional coordination:

Working closely with Production, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, and Sales to prevent defects rather than detect them

Team leadership:

Building, guiding, and developing the QA/QC team with a culture of ownership, data-driven decision-making, and right-first-time execution

Ideal Candidate Profile

1520 years of experience in Quality Assurance within manufacturing / electrochemical fields

Deep hands-on exposure to process quality, product quality, testing laboratories, and customer quality management

Strong working knowledge of SPC, MSA, PFMEA, control plans, CAPA, 7 QC tools, audits, and failure analysis

Confident with ERP systems, quality documentation, data analysis, and reporting

Mature stakeholder management skills with the ability to work seamlessly across shopfloor, leadership, customers, and suppliers

High ownership mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to stand firm on quality while enabling production
