Job Description

Principal Accountabilities:


  • Maintain defined timelines for vendor approvals, ensure adherence to all compliance parameters, and monitor and compare key criteria such as cost, technical nuances, infrastructure, and overall product standards
  • Investigate all complaints received from buyers and suppliers, prepare an investigation report, and initiate appropriate corrective actions, including monitoring and implementing compensation where applicable.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all vendors, including New Product Development (NPD) and regular supplies.
  • Review and validate samples and artwork as per the defined SOP and ensure TAT compliance at every stage.
  • Ensure sample approvals are completed within the stipulated 3-day timeline.
  • Conduct factory visits as per the scheduled plan to monitor in-process products and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain proper documentation and escalate deviations promptly for corrective action.
  • Conduct monthly review meetings with the team to evaluate work progress, adherence to assigned timelines, and achievement of KPIs/parameters.
  • Analyze performance gaps and provide guidance for improvement.
  • Ensure documentation of review findings and follow-up actions for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor the consistency and quality of work delivered by the team.
  • Implement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) guidelines across vendor operations.
  • Identify non-conformities (NC) or observations during audits or inspections and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely closure of CAPA activities and maintain records for compliance checks.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to prevent recurrence of issues by strengthening systems and processes.
  • Support audit preparedness to ensure zero NC during external or internal audits.
  • Provide training to the team on management skills, vendor SOPs, CAPA guidelines, and quality parameters.
  • Conduct periodic refresher sessions to build capability and ensure consistent process adherence.
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend required training programs for team development.
  • Ensure proper documentation of training attendance and feedback for continuous skill enhancement.
