Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a QA Lead at Docxster. This role goes far beyond traditional manual testing. You will own and design the complete quality strategyensuring stability from the first line of code to production releases.

As QA Lead, you will take responsibility for defining testing processes, release standards, and quality gates across teams. You will work closely with engineering, product, and leadership to prevent defects early, streamline deployments, and eliminate last-minute surprises. You will also mentor and develop a team of junior QA engineers, setting clear expectations, targets, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Quality Leadership: Proven experience as a QA Lead or Senior QA Engineer with ownership of end-to-end quality processes.
• Process Design & Ownership: Ability to design, implement, and continuously improve QA processes across development, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Shift-Left Quality Mindset: Strong belief in preventing bugs early through collaboration with developers, code-level thinking, and early validation.
• Team Mentorship: Experience mentoring junior testers, setting goals, reviewing work, and building a strong quality culture.
• Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of modern web applications, APIs, release workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Communication & Influence: Ability to clearly articulate the importance of quality to engineering and product teams without friction.
• Stability & Scale Focus: Preference for predictable, reliable releases over reactive firefighting and hotfix-driven workflows.
• Experience with test automation, performance testing, and release management is a strong advantage.
