Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer Automation with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications, APIs, and databases. You should have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, cloud-based testing (AWS), and database validation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Perform manual and automation testing for web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
• Conduct API Testing using REST, JSON, and XML to validate web services and data exchange.
• Execute Web Testing and Database Testing to ensure data integrity, consistency, and validity.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members in an Agile environment to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform cloud-based testing using AWS for scalable and distributed environments.
• Work with databases like MS SQL Server, MySQL, ElasticSearch, and DynamoDB for integration and validation testing.
• Utilize AWS Redshift for data validation and performance testing.
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• Ensure continuous integration and continuous testing processes are followed.

Technical Skills Required:

• Testing Methodologies: Agile, Automation & Manual Testing
• API Testing Tools: REST, JSON, XML
• Databases: MS SQL Server, MySQL, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB
• Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, HTML
• Cloud: AWS (Testing Environments, Redshift)
• Tools: Jenkins, Postman, JMeter, Selenium, or equivalent
• Defect Tracking Tools: JIRA or similar

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
