Position Description and Detailed scope of Responsibilities:

• Receipt LOT clearance.

• Assuring continual improvement in Supplier Quality.

• Ensure elimination of line stoppages through Coordination with Purchase, PPC, Store & Production Departments.

• Ensure the completion of QAV activities.

• Ensure Smooth running of SAP System & other regular SAP activities.

• Ensuring the Rejection data preparation.

•   Ensure adherence to process as per IATF16949 and other audit requirements pertaining to supplier Quality section.

• Weekly & Monthly reporting to the Management for the supplier performance, improvements, and actions.

• Ensuring the Manpower Planning, Motivation and Competence Development of team members.

• Ensure development of easy, fast and accurate measurement of parts – Receipt Team / Sample team and Suppliers end.

• Execution of the activities as per the Business Plan to meet the company targets.

• Conducting meetings with suppliers and buyer regarding quality troubles and ensuring defect free supply of material to line with preparation of records of Minutes of meeting.

• Attending the Line troubles and taking the actions to feed the good parts to the Line.

• Monthly Suppliers quality performance reports preparation and communication to all concerns.

Key Skills and Relevant Experience:

• Knowledge on Press Components, Machining, Injection Moulding, Diecasting, Forging etc

• Certified for the Internal auditor IATF-16949

• Knowledge on Instruments handling Basic Instruments and CMM, Roundness, Contour, Microscope, Hardness tester etc

• Knowledge on Problem Solving tools

• Knowledge on Production Part approval process.

Qualification: BE/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: BE with - 4 - 6 years / Diploma with – 08 – 10 Yrs

Preferred Industrial Experience: Automobile / Auto Ancillary / Auto Components (Preferable: Japanese industries)
