Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and maintain test automation scripts to test our healthcare information application
• Improve automation Infrastructure, increase automation performance and productivity.
• Execute automation test, analysis test results and report application issues with reproducible steps

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Software Testing Fundamentals: Understanding of software testing lifecycle (unit, integration, system, acceptance testing) and various testing methodologies (functional, regression, etc.). Previous manual testing working experience is highly valued

Programming Proficiency: Proficiency in coding/scripting languages for automation (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.).

Automation Experience: at least 5yr working experience in API testing, SQL database testing, and UI testing. Working experience with Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, Maven is a must. Working experience of integrating test in Azure DevOp pipeline is required. Working experience or knowledge of other CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions etc.) or tools (Appium, Cypress, or Playwright etc.) is a plus

Framework Experience: Experience in developing test automation frameworks is highly valued.

Healthcare industry domain knowledge: knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and medical data exchange protocols is preferred.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: strong analytical ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and troubleshoot issues is a must.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed to effectively collaborate with team members or between teams.

Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

Educational: Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
