Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and API testing , and will work closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium
• Perform API testing using tools such as Rest Assured, Postman, or similar
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks (TestNG / JUnit / Maven / Gradle)
• Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members
• Execute regression, smoke, functional, and integration tests
• Analyze test results and provide detailed test reports
• Participate in requirement analysis and test planning
• Ensure automation coverage for new features and enhancements
• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automation tests (Jenkins, Git, etc.)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing
• Strong programming skills in Java
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience in API testing (Rest Assured, Postman, SOAP UI, etc.)
• Knowledge of TestNG or JUnit
• Experience with Maven or Gradle
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
