Automated Tester

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automated Tester with a focus on acceptance testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in automated testing, with a strong understanding of acceptance testing concepts and methodologies. They should be proficient in writing test cases, conducting end-to-end tests, and performing API testing. Additionally, leadership qualities and the ability to engage in client communication are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement acceptance testing strategies and processes
• Write and maintain comprehensive test cases based on project requirements
• Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure the integrity of the software solution
• Perform API testing to validate system functionality
• Lead and mentor junior members of the testing team
• Engage in client communication to gather and clarify project requirements
• Conduct regression testing to identify and address software defects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products
• Utilize repositories and tracking systems such as Git, Confluence, and JIRA for documentation, test scripts, test results, configuration, and supporting data
• Understanding of Functional Test methods/Test automation (SDET skills) and different phases of testing: System Integration, System Testing & User Acceptance Testing.

Required Skill Sets

• 2-3 years of experience in automated testing, with a focus on acceptance testing.
• Experience with testing .NET and Node.js based applications
• Working knowledge of Postman
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Proficiency in writing test cases and test scripts
• Experience with regression testing techniques and tools
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Jest
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Education: B.Tech, M Tech, BCA, MCA or relevant experience.

Experience: 2-3 years of experience in automated testing.
