Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and JavaScript to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks and ensuring high product quality across web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript
• Build and enhance automation frameworks from scratch or improve existing ones
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to test strategy and best practices
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory)
• Excellent proficiency in JavaScript (mandatory)
• Experience in automating web applications
• Strong understanding of testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC
• Experience with version control tools like Git

Good to Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Knowledge of API testing
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology
