Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist/Engineer to

ensure the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and analysis. The

ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a

strong understanding of software development processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for software

applications, ensuring thorough coverage of all functionalities.

Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, regressions, and

performance issues.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, managers, and

support engineers to identify and resolve quality issues.

Investigate and analyse root causes of defects, providing detailed reports and

recommendations for improvement.

Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance

efficiency and effectiveness.

Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in

software quality assurance.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and

retrospectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and

automated testing techniques.

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g.,

Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, JIRA, etc.).

Experience with test automation and scripting languages such as Python, Java, or

JavaScript.

Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile

teams.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot

complex issues and communicate findings effectively.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

with tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate

effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

ISTQB or other relevant software testing certifications.

Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and testing in distributed systems.

Knowledge of SQL and database testing techniques.
