Quality Analyst / Controller (ePublishing)

Job description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Analyst at Deanta, Chennai. As a quality analyst, youll be part of the quality management team and conduct quality audits for books and journals.

Key responsibilities

• Auditing PDFs for layout and style following SOPs.
• Checking structuring when layout is incorrect and sharing feedback:

1. With project management, editorial and/or production for training purposes.
2. With the template team for any template improvements required.
3. With technology for any functionalities that need updates or new development.
4. Documenting the feedback for next level analysis.

What were looking for

• 1-3 years of experience in quality control (QC) / quality analysis (QA) in books.
• Familiar with production tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, MS Word)
• Familiarity with XML-based production workflow for books, including MS review.
• Experience with automated workflows is preferable.
• Ability to learn multiple styles and work on different accounts at the same time.
• Analytical skills.
