QS Engineer (Civil Engineer)

Looking for a Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in Quantity Surveying (QS) work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry.

Minimum Expectations for the role:

a. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

b. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.

c. Experience in airport projects and other infrastructure projects are most preferable.

The primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

a. Quantity Surveying Expertise: Conducting detailed cost estimations, bill of quantities, preparation of RA bills and tender analysis for projects. Monitoring project costs and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.

b. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

c. Contract Assessment: Reviewing contracts to validate compliance with the terms and conditions set forth.

d. Quality Assurance: Ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Conducting quality control checks to standards of workmanship.

e. Technical Expertise: Reviewing project plans and specifications for accuracy and feasibility.

Applying engineering expertise to evaluate technical aspects of civil and infrastructure projects during audits.

f. Reporting: To prepare audit reports for cost and quality, accurately present findings, impacts,

recommendations, and observations in a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation for effective communication and decision-making.
