QE for AWS Migration Testing (Gatling)

Responsibilities: (Candidate with 8+ years experience)

1.      Collaborate on developing QE strategies and tailored plans for migrating individual applications, considering factors like dependencies, performance, and compliance.

2.      Work closely with the Pipeline team to establish QE processes within application-specific CICD pipelines for both on-premises and cloud deployments.

3.      Conduct comprehensive QE testing, including functional, integration, and performance testing, to validate the effectiveness of migrated applications.

4.      Document QE processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.

5.      Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the migration process, assisting in troubleshooting and resolving QE-related issues.

6. Gatling framework knowledge is a must 

Qualifications:

1.      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. 

2.      Extensive experience in writing, executing test plans for End-to-End testing and Integration Testing. 

3.      Extensive experience in writing, executing functional tests/regression tests using Java, Cucumber.

4.      Expertise in writing, executing performance testing using Jmeter or any similar tools.

5.      Knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure is a plus. 

6.      Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to application quality and performance.

7.      AWS certifications like AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are advantageous.

• Experience in designing and executing distributed load tests with Gatling using Docker and AWS.

• Analyze test results and provide insights for performance improvements.

• Good to have Implement and manage containerized environments to support application deployment and scaling.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate containerization into CI/CD pipelines.
