Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced QA Project Manager to lead and deliver quality-driven technology projects within the Capital Markets domain . The role involves managing end-to-end project delivery with a strong focus on testing, UAT, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination .
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in QA/testing , deep understanding of Capital Market systems , and proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery from planning to closure for Capital Market applications.
- Own QA and testing strategy , including SIT, UAT, defect management, and release readiness.
- Create and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
- Coordinate with business users, trading teams, developers, testers, and external vendors.
- Drive requirement analysis, functional discussions, and documentation (BRD, SRS, Test Strategy).
- Manage UAT cycles , defect triage meetings, and sign-off with business stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI and exchange regulatory requirements .
- Establish project governance, status reporting, dashboards, and review mechanisms.
- Manage change requests, impact analysis, and production deployment planning.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and best practices.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years as a Project Manager .
- Strong background in QA / Testing project management .
- Hands-on experience in Capital Markets domain , including:
- Trading systems (Equity, Derivatives, Currency)
- Order Management Systems (OMS)
- Risk, Clearing & Settlement
- Market Data systems
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile & Waterfall models .
- Expertise in UAT management, defect triage, and release management .
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing cross-functional and multi-vendor teams .
Good to Have
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification.
- Experience working with brokers, exchanges, or investment banks .
- Exposure to SEBI compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting .
- Knowledge of automation testing tools (JIRA, ALM, Selenium high level).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Started career in QA / Testing and transitioned into Project Management .
- Has delivered regulatory or business-critical Capital Market projects .
- Comfortable interacting with front-office, middle-office, and back-office teams .
- Strong ownership mindset with delivery and quality focus.
