Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing, performance/stress testing, and QA frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience specifically in automation, along with exposure to testing large-scale, secure, and compliance-driven applicationspreferably in payments or fintech.

This role is crucial in ensuring the quality, reliability, scalability, and security of Pekos payment platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Build and execute test plans, test cases, and test automation suites aligned with product requirements.
• Conduct automation testing, stress testing, load testing, and performance testing across payment workflows.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure defect-free releases.
• Perform API automation, integration testing, regression testing, and system validation in a payments environment.
• Analyse and document test results, quality metrics, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure QA processes align with PCI DSS, security, and compliance standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous delivery.
• Maintain and optimise automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.) and support CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience specifically in automation testing (mandatory).
• Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Experience in stress testing, load testing, performance benchmarking (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.).
• Solid experience with API testing tools like Postman, Newman, RestAssured.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail).
• Experience in mobile app testing and backend validation.
• Good knowledge of SQL and ability to validate data pipelines.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Experience in fintech, payments, or PCI DSS-based systems is an advantage.
