Role overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer Mobile Applications to ensure the quality and performance of mobile and web applications through manual and automated testing. The role involves test planning, defect tracking, cross-device compatibility testing, and close collaboration with product, design, and development teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile applications.
2. Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of mobile apps on various devices and platforms (iOS, Android, etc.).
3. Identify, record, document, and track defects found during testing using bug tracking tools.
4. Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback on usability, functionality, and user experience aspects.
5. Participate in the design and review process to provide insights and suggestions for improving the app's quality and performance.
6. Conduct compatibility testing across different devices, operating systems, and screen resolutions.
7. Perform manual and automated testing, including developing and maintaining test scripts and test automation frameworks.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to ensure smooth integration and deployment of new features.
9. Continuously monitor and enhance the overall quality assurance process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to mobile app testing.

Requirements:

1. Experience in manual testing of mobile and web applications.
2. Experience in load testing and performance testing.
3. Strong knowledge of mobile app testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
4. Understanding of tracking tools such as JIRA, design tool Figma.
5. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
6. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
7. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
8. Understanding and experience in automation such as Selenium, Charles proxy.
