Job Description

QA Engineer (Manual) 2+ Years Experience

Were looking for a detail-obsessed Manual QA Engineer to help us ship reliable releases at speed. Youll own end-to-end manual testing on release branches, maintain and evolve test cases, and partner closely with Product and Engineering to ensure every go-live is smooth. If youre excited by ownership, fast feedback loops, and building quality into the process, this role is for you.

What youll do

Perform thorough manual QA on release branches across web and/or mobile surfaces.

Create, maintain, and continuously improve test cases, checklists, and regression suites.

Validate fixes, track issues, and drive them to closure with clear repro steps and evidence.

Collaborate with PMs, developers, and designers to clarify requirements and edge cases early.

Participate in release sign-offs and ensure high confidence for production launches.

Identify gaps in coverage and propose practical improvements to QA workflows.

Gradually contribute to Automation QA (writing/maintaining scripts) as the team scales.

What were looking for

2+ years of hands-on Manual QA experience in product-based or fast-paced engineering teams.

Strong understanding of QA fundamentals: SDLC/STLC, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle.

Experience testing feature releases, regression cycles, and critical go-lives.

Ability to write clear, structured test cases and maintain them over time.

Strong bug reporting skills with attention to detail (steps, expected vs actual, logs/screenshots).

Comfortable working with tight timelines and high ownership environments.

Bonus: Exposure to automation tools/frameworks (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright/Appium) or a strong interest in learning.

Nice to have

Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman/Swagger) and basic SQL for data validation.

Experience in multi-module products and/or multi-tenant systems.

Understanding of agile development and CI/CD release cycles.

Why join us

High impact role in a product thats scaling fast.

Real ownership over release quality and go-live confidence.

Clear runway to grow into Automation QA.

A team that values speed and correctness.

Work style & expectations

This role is best suited for someone who thrives in high-ownership, high-velocity delivery cycles. You should be comfortable with periodic sprints of intense focus around releases, and working closely with engineering during critical launch windows to ensure we hit quality bars without slowing momentum.
